Coffee Mornings are held on the first Wednesday of the month at 10.30am.
There will be no Coffee mornings in December or January.
The Open Meetings are obviously devoted to the Speaker so there is little time to chat to old friends or get to know new ones. The solution is to come along to the coffee mornings held, on the 1st Wednesday of the month, in the front room of Westerham Hall. If you are a new member it is a relaxed way to meet others and discover, over a cuppa, all the activities that the u3a can offer! If you know anyone thinking of joining bring them along – they may well decide to join on the spot!

Open Meeting Thursday 10th October 2024 2pm Behind the Scenes of TV's Golden Years by Wilf Lower
Who can forget "Morecambe & Wise", "The Two Ronnies", "Terry & June", "Till Death Do Us Part" and "The Good Life"? Dramas like the "Forsyte Saga", "Pennies from Heaven" and "When the Boat Comes In"; music from "Top of the Pops" to the "Last Night of the Proms"; and the pageantry of royal events. These were truly television’s "Golden Years" but how these and many other great programmes were made, the situations and ‘characters’ involved, was often astounding and hilarious. Never has ‘you wouldn’t believe it’ been more appropriate!
