Theatre and more

The rationale for organising trips to the theatre/ performing arts is to travel, sometimes together, and by public transport when in London. Going out as a U3A group is a social occasion. We sit together, dine together ( optional) and share discussion about what we have seen/heard. New friendships are often made.

The group will offer a minimum of 6 productions each year. This will be on alternative months, from October 2021. We book matinees from preference but will book evening performances particularly if it is a one night production.  We have a ceiling price of £50pp, usually Stalls tickets can be obtained at prices significantly less than this.

In September members went to the Dominion Theatre in London to see Prince of Egypt and then ate at Zedel’s. All agreed it was a wonderful trip.

Our October 2021 production is ‘ And Then There Were None’ at the Barn Theatre, Oxted. Matinee performance on Saturday 16 October.
