FLOWER ARRANGING
Meetings: Every other Friday 1 to 3pm
The Flower Arranging group is a new group meeting in Westerham Hall and will evolve to meet members aspirations. A member of the Group, and a great flower arranger, gives demonstrations and makes the seasonal suggestions about what the Group might do and is available to provide guidance on techniques. Members are encouraged to choose themes or any special arrangements they would like to do. Typical themes have been VE Day and June Rose Bowl Decoration (albeit during lockdown). Members are responsible for providing their own flowers, oasis, containers, etc.

Meetings:     By arrangement with members
Fly fishing is a fun and challenging way to exercise in the fresh air and generally the end product is a feeling of wellbeing, plus a trout or two. Meet new people, make new friends and find an engrossing hobby. Full instructions on how to catch and retrieve your fish are given.

FRENCH – ADVANCED
Meetings: 1st & 3rd  Thursday each month at members' homes

FRENCH CONVERSATION
Meetings:  Fortnightly at 10.30am on a Wednesday morning at members' homes.
This Intermediate/Improvers French Group is intended for those who have a good basic knowledge of the French language and who wish to improve their overall skill and the confidence to communicate more effectively. The emphasis is on spoken French ranging from everyday life to social, current news and cultural topics.  Some topics are set in advance to allow for revision/preparation of vocabulary. Contemporary novels, newspapers, magazine articles, films and sometimes games are used.  Relaxed and fun!

FRENCH BEGINNERS
Meetings: Every Tuesday Morning in members’ homes
This is an amalgamation of two French beginner Groups; beginners and those with very rusty French. At present the Group uses Easy French Reader as a textbook, members have been listening to Youtube French, and everyone prepares their own "nouvelles" for presentation at each session.
The Group will continue with further courses as members’ expertise improves.

GARDENING GROUP
Meetings: Every second Tuesday in the month at each others' houses at 10.00am (starting with tea/coffee!)
We discuss any problems we have in our own gardens or anything we have heard or read that could be of interest to the group. We also organise days out and have visited Coolings Garden Centre to see their display of plants for flower festivals and enjoyed a cream tea!

GRUMPY OLD MEN
Meetings: The last Thursday of every month.
Is there anything that gets your goat or gets up your nose?  Something you want to get your teeth into or get off your chest? Any subject you want to have a good rant about? If so join the Grumpy Old Men's group where likeminded seniors can get together and put the world to right in a couple of hours. You can be sure of a lively and entertaining discussion where anything goes with no holds barred on any topic, but personal abuse or fighting amongst members will not be permitted.

A  6 week course is offered for beginners or near beginners to enable them to get the best from their iPad.   ITALIAN BEGINNERS
Meetings: The Group meets on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of the month from 10.00 a.m. - 11.30 a.m. under the watchful eye of a tutor. The tutor being funded by group members.
The main aim is to speak Italian and enjoy the fortnightly sessions! The tutor advises on which course books to buy and her lessons are based on them.  Lessons are conducted on zoom because the tutor is not local; she sends the link for each session. It is hoped to meet together in Westerham in the summer.
